Protect your smile even after extraction with advanced socket preservation techniques that ensure a strong foundation for future dental health!

At Olympic Endo, we go beyond tooth extraction to safeguard your long-term oral health with socket preservation. This advanced technique helps protect the bone and surrounding tissue after a tooth is removed, maintaining the structure needed for future restorations like implants. By preserving the socket, we prevent bone loss, ensure proper healing, and create a strong foundation for your smile. Trust our expertise to deliver care that prioritizes your dental health and aesthetic for years to come.

Socket preservation is essential after a tooth extraction to prevent bone loss and maintain the natural structure of your jaw. When a tooth is removed, the surrounding bone can begin to deteriorate, leading to a weakened jawline and complications for future dental restorations, such as implants or bridges. By preserving the socket, we help maintain the integrity of your smile, ensuring a strong foundation for both functionality and appearance

After the extraction, socket preservation involves placing a grafting material in the empty socket where the tooth was removed. This material promotes bone regeneration and protects the area as it heals. The socket is then covered with a protective membrane or sutures to secure the site. Over time, the graft integrates with your natural bone, creating a stable base for future dental work. At Olympic Endo, we use advanced techniques to ensure the process is comfortable, precise, and effective.

If a tooth is knocked out of its socket, it should immediately be rinsed off and placed it back in the socket in its original orientation. If that is not possible, the tooth should be kept moist in liquid (milk, saliva, water) and the tooth and patient should be taken to an endodontic office immediately. Every minute counts. The longer the tooth remains out of the socket, the more likely it is to have complications during healing. Even if you are able to put the tooth back in on your own, you should still come in to be evaluated as soon as possible. Additional treatment may be necessary to save your tooth.
